PPoPP 2027

Welcome to the website of the PPoPP 2027 conference.

The ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPoPP) is the premier forum for leading work on all aspects of parallel and performance programming, including theoretical foundations, techniques, languages, compilers, runtime systems, tools, applications, and practical experience. This symposium focuses on improving the programming productivity and performance engineering of all concurrent and parallel systems - multicore, multi-threaded, heterogeneous, clustered, and distributed systems, grids, accelerators such as ASICs, GPUs, FPGAs, data centers, clouds, large scale machines, and quantum computers. PPoPP is also interested in new and emerging parallel workloads and applications, such as artificial intelligence and large-scale scientific/enterprise workloads.

PPoPP will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah from 20th March – 24th March 2027 and will be co-located with HPCA/PPoPP/CGO/CC 2027.

The PPoPP 2027 Artifact Evaluation Committee (AEC) is being formed, and we invite volunteers and nominations. We are aiming for a committee of approximately 40 to 50 evaluators. Senior PhD students, postdocs, recent PhD graduates, and other researchers with experience in parallel programming, compilers, runtimes, systems, architecture, performance analysis, or related areas are all good candidates. Prior artifact evaluation experience is helpful, but not required.

Artifact submissions are due November 9, 2026. Evaluations run from November 10 to December 13, 2026, with author notifications on December 14, 2026. Each evaluator is expected to handle 1 to 2 artifacts, with a possible third assignment depending on submission volume and expertise matching. Evaluators should be prepared to run the submitted software, check the authors’ instructions and central claims, communicate with authors through HotCRP when technical issues arise, and submit a concise evaluation. The workload varies by artifact, but evaluators should plan for several hours per assigned artifact spread across the evaluation period.
